Reformation 500 Mosaic

This was a coming home project I instigated after learning that the rural community where I spent my teenage years and painted a mural was in need of some new inspiration. The timing also aligned with the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation as well as the solar eclipse of 2017. The Pastor at the church wanted to pay tribute to the Lutheran community that comprised their little village named Worms, taking its namesake from Worms, Germany where Martin Luther took his stand against the Roman Catholic Church. The great people of Zion Lutheran Church aided me in this Herculean effort, fit for an army of true believers.
